b
B is for... Ball mason jar. I love this clear blue jar. It sits in my kitchen windowsill and holds a collection of marbles I've started for my son.

j
Yes, this one is reaching a bit, but stay with me! This is the arm of a wire sculpture my husband created in college as an art major. It's inspired by a photo for the Pet Shop Boys album, Very, and appears in their video for "Can You Forgive Her?". This guy lives on top of our fridge. Squint just right and maybe you can make out a J in his arm.
(By the way, I've just discovered that Blogger hasn't emailed me a single comment I've received on this blog! How irritating! Thank you for your comments!)

The her space/my space folks have started a letter challenge. It took me a couple days to find the first three! First up... S.
This is the right side of a picture frame in our home office. It holds a picture of my son in a Valentine's Day outfit.

bracelet
Jewelry, trinkets or adornments worn on the wrist. Show me your favorite bracelet.
I can't choose between these two! The gold and diamond one was given to me by my beloved paternal grandfather the Christmas before his death. The silver claddagh one was given to me by my husband for our first Christmas, when we were dating. I love them both but don't wear either right now due to a certain grabby little baby boy!

swing
A suspended object moving to and fro. What's swinging where you are?
(In the interest of full disclosure, I have to admit that this photo of me was taken by my then-fiance, now-husband almost two years ago!)

sniff
To test the air with one's nose. Whats worth sniffing in your space?
--
Okay, I don't want any cracks about dirty diapers! If you've ever sniffed Pampers, you'll know they're sweet and lovely and smell like a clean, cuddly baby. This is the stash at my son's changing table.
